Joy

Last night after Kaleo, we heard some heart wrenching stories about several invisible children, including Roseline, Margaret, and Ronald. Ronald talked to us about his story, and it truly got me thinking about how much I take life for granted.

Joy was prominent in all of their lives. I envy that joy.

Matthew 6:34

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

I have been worrying about my future a lot recently, but hey! Why? It's hard for me to realize sometimes, but stress is overrated. Honestly. Life would be so much better if stress was not in the equation of life.
My thoughts: Let's focus on loving each other today and dismiss the future factor.

The Yeti

Dear Yeti Hat,

I will either get you for my future child,
or for myself.

Either way, I will own you someday.

Love,
Emma

Woops

I sat on someone today.

It was Brooke.

Sorry Brooke.

Pearly Whites

You may be thinking pearly white teeth; however, I am thinking nails.

It all began on March 1, 2010...the start of something new. Ever since I was a wee child, I have picked/eaten my nails pretty much nonstop. For 16 straight years, my nails have been nonexistent. However, thanks to God/lent/a psychology experiment/hall mates/Elli/friends, I have made the decision to stop.

Yay! It's great. But so difficult. I have to play with silly putty, hold a water bottle, and write on my hands "NO BITING EMMA". Therefore, I get a lot of comments and questions. I'm okay with that. I would probably ask someone why they had that on their hand. Just sayin...

Anyways, updates will be present. Stay tuned...

Typical Intro to Lit Class Discussion:

Sipps: Did you know that Orca's aren't whales? They are dolphins!
Kelli: Emma speaks whale!
Emma: Ya it's a talent...
Kelli: What?! It's Italian?

You'd think as roommates, we would be very in tune with each other, but when conversations like this one take place...you have to wonder. I love you roommate!

It is such a phenomenon to think of things I have never thought of before.
